How does MoreTix work:
When a ticket is purchased for an event at Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Queensland Performing Arts Centre, Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane Powerhouse or Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, the event-goer will be prompted to explore what Brisbane has to offer, including additional events, accommodation, dining, and unique experiences around the time of their visit.
This inspirational content will be tailored to the consumer, based off the original event purchased and travel period. Whether they’re into sports, culture, or family-friendly activities, the MoreTix initiative enhances the consumer journey and encourages visitors to stay longer and experience more of Brisbane’s diverse leisure offering.
For example, a visitor planning to attend the NRL Magic Round in Brisbane could discover a music event scheduled for the weekend before their trip. By extending their stay in Brisbane, they might also consider going on a brewery tour or embarking on a day trip to Moreton Bay, adding even more excitement and experiences to their visit.
Currently, MoreTix is active for events at Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Queensland Performing Arts Centre, Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane Powerhouse and Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. However, BEDA and the Better Brisbane Alliance are working to expand the program to include additional venues in Brisbane.
Brisbane event organisers and tourism operators are automatically included in this program through the Visit Brisbane website integration with the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW). Operators are encouraged to update their ATDW listings with high quality imagery, up-to-date information, and featured events and deals.
