This innovative space showcases intricate, miniature masterpieces, offering a unique and detailed perspective on art, culture, and history. Explore the fascinating world of tiny creations, from miniature sculptures to detailed dioramas, all meticulously crafted to captivate and inspire.

New Light: Photography Now + Then, Museum of Brisbane | 17 August – 16 May

Immerse yourself into the Museum of Brisbane (MOB) exhibition where Brisbane photographer Alfred Henrie Elliot’s (1870-1954) discovered works are being celebrated. His incredible pieces of art were found almost 30 years after his passing, hidden in cigar boxes underneath a home in Red Hill. While visiting MOB, discover seven contemporary Brisbane photographers debuting their work inspired by Elliot.

Museum of Brisbane Walking Tours | Various dates

The Museum of Brisbane's walking tour program returns this March, featuring beloved tours like History on the Hill and Walking in Wartime, alongside a limited run of Walking with Vida, an immersive experience led by Natalie Cowling as Vida Lahey. Be quick, sessions are selling fast!

Dopamine Land | Ongoing

An activity for the whole family to enjoy, Dopamine Land has officially landed in Brisbane City at Uptown. Discover this multisensory experience that combines media, technology, and play, all packaged up in one location. Brisbane City Markets | Queen’s Wharf

Brisbane’s freshest market experience has arrived! Every Thursday from 8am–2pm, Queen’s Wharf transforms into a buzzing marketplace filled with local produce, gourmet eats and artisan treasures. Wander through the George Street Foyer, grab a coffee, and soak up the riverside city vibes perfect for your midweek reset.

Tillerman Seafood Restaurant and Bar

Donna Chang is hosting a Mum Cha Banquet this Mother’s Day offering an unforgettable Sunday feast from 10am. Experience expertly crafted Yum Cha delights infused with Sichuan flavours with the whole family for $98 per person and $45 per child.

This Mother’s Day, gather the family for a three-course feast at Blackbird from 11.30am, where refined modern Australian dining and uninterrupted Brisbane River and Story Bridge views meet. Boom Boom Room

Open for both lunch and dinner this Mother’s Day, you can treat your mum to bold Japanese flavours. In this underground bank chamber turned bar let Mum indulge in an expertly curated à la carte menu featuring fresh sashimi and delicate dumplings, or go all in with a multi-course Omakase banquet, crafted for a truly immersive dining experience.

Indulge in a warming Sunday feast on Mother’s Day at Walter’s Steakhouse. From 11:30am on Sunday the 11thof May you can treat your mum to a three-course set menu for $120 per person.

W Brisbane – The Lex

Friday Latin Nights | Every Friday

Rediscover the magic of Friday Latin Nights at Reddacliff Place! Immerse yourself in a celebration of Latin culture featuring food trucks, live music, and social dancing. From 5pm, treat yourself to a variety of savoury and sweet delights, followed by live music until 7pm. Then, join the free dance class at 7pm and sway into the night from 7:30pm to 11pm. Suitcase Rummage | Monthly

Looking to score some hidden gems without the usual market commotion? Look no further than Suitcase Rummage, a delightful community market experience right in your neighbourhood. Simply pack your trusty suitcase with your cherished pre-loved items or handcrafted creations and set up your mini pop-up shop effortlessly. This unique market takes place on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month, nestled cosily in Reddacliff Place. 

City Sounds | Weekly
