School Holiday Program | Museum of Brisbane
Keep the kids entertained these school holidays from 27 June to 12 July with a creative line-up of activities at the Museum of Brisbane. The program is packed with hands-on workshops, guided tours and drop-in sessions designed to spark curiosity and creativity. Expect everything from artmaking and storytelling to interactive experiences inspired by the Museum’s exhibitions, with options for all ages and a mix of free and low-cost activities available.
Artist in Residence | Museum of Brisbane
Step inside the colourful world of local artist Martin Edge as he takes residence at Museum of Brisbane. Inspired by Brisbane’s everyday scenes, watch the walls come to life as he paints a large-scale mural within the Fairfax Gallery until 12 July.
State of Origin Merchandise | Queen Street Mall
The final State of Origin match is happening in Brisbane on 8 July, for whatever team you're supporting, now is your moment to suit up. Head into The City to grab jerseys, scarves and supporter gear, with a Rebel Sport pop-up across Wintergarden with their full retail store just up the mall for any last-minute team kit.
State of Origin Screenings | Brisbane City
Catch every tackle, try, and nail-biting moment of the State of Origin, live and loud across The City on 8 July. Head to Winghaus on Edward Street for big screens and limited-edition burgers, swing by Jimmy’s On The Mall for pre-match specials alongside the action, or lock in riverside views at Pig ‘N’ Whistle with food and drink deals running throughout.
NAIDOC Week | Queen Street Mall
NAIDOC Week, from 5-12 July, is bringing a powerful program of live music, storytelling and culture to The City. The theme for 2026 is a major milestone with 50 Years Deadly, celebrating and amplifying the voices, cultures, achievements, resilience, and leadership of First Nations peoples. From City Sounds sets to intimate events like Blak Story Song and hands-on weaving with Kyra Hourigan, it's a chance to connect with First Nation stories, culture and creativity.

Disney is bringing magic to Brisbane City with an exclusive pop-up store opening on 4 July for a limited 12-weeks. Packed with collectable pins, trading cards and exclusive merchandise, it’s a must-visit for fans. Lord Mayor’s Concerts | City Hall

High Tea | Bar 1603
Hidden behind Hotel Indigo’s red doors, Bar 1603 has given high tea a glow-up with a sculptural, Zen Garden-inspired spread designed to explore layer by layer. For $99 per person, expect bubbles on arrival, delicate savoury bites like wagyu tataki and katsu sando, plus playful sweets including ube doughnuts and a standout chocolate bonsai tree, available Friday to Sunday from 11am to 3pm.
San Telmo | Edward Street
From flame-led feasts to Malbec-fuelled nights, fan-favourite San Telmo, is bringing a slice of Buenos Aires to Brisbane this July. Expect smoky, fire-driven dishes cooked straight from the parrilla grill, generous share-style plates and a warm and buzzing atmosphere.
