It’s a screen‑time celebration throughout April at Elizabeth Picture Theatre, with special sing‑along screenings, inviting everyone to belt out to favourites, and the high‑energy BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ special screening, bringing the thrill of a global concert straight to the big screen.

Artist in Residence | Museum of Brisbane

Step into a burst of bold colour as artist Renee Kire transforms Museum of Brisbane’s entryway into an immersive installation inspired by The City’s architecture. The work will evolve over Kire’s residency, offering visitors a chance to see it take shape with free tours and creative workshops running throughout April.

When Dilly Bags Catch the Light | Brisbane Quarter

Discover When Dilly Bags Catch the Light, a free art installation by First Nations artist Delvene Cockatoo-Collins, now showing at Brisbane Quarter daily until 10 May. Featuring striking large-scale dilly bags and fashion works inspired by matrilineal storytelling and Quandamooka Country, this exhibition is a must-see in The City.

School Holiday Activities | Museum of Brisbane

Looking for a creative school holiday plan in Brisbane? Museum of Brisbane’s Autumn School Holidays program is packed with free and low-cost activities for kids, teens, and families, from playful art-making and weaving workshops to guided tours and hands-on experiences inspired by Brisbane stories. On daily from 4–19 April, it’s the perfect excuse to head into The City and create together at Brisbane City Hall.

Calling all Friends™ lovers mark your calendars for 9 April as Uptown opens their doors to The FRIENDS™ Experience! The ultimate destination for fans to relive all their favourite moments from the show by stepping inside iconic recreated sets, explore replica props and costumes, and snap your way through a nostalgia-packed, interactive walkthrough.

Live Screenings | Queens Wharf

With NRL and AFL kicked off, there’s no better place to catch the action than under the stars at Queens Wharf’s Leisure deck. Fridays and Saturdays bring live games to the big screen, while Tuesday and Wednesday nights are reserved for outdoor movies as part of Skyline Cinema. Expect big screens, great atmosphere, and Brisbane nights done right.

Brisbane City Hall is serving up a little extra fun these school holidays, with plenty of colour, energy and room for the kids to let loose. Families can jump into the action at The Common People Family Challenge on Wednesday 8 April for a playful mix of dancing, games and a few good laughs, then wander into the wonderfully quirky world of My Big Top Circus Family on Monday 13 April, where modern circus antics and unexpected surprises keep everyone entertained.

Louder, Later, Bolder | Boom Boom Room

Brisbane’s underground supper club has entered a new era as Boom Boom Room’s Louder. Later. Bolder continues. Serving up modern Asian share plates, theatrical cocktails and an ever-changing lineup of DJ’s, live music and burlesque as the night continues. Open Wednesday to Saturday, it’s where dinner seamlessly rolls into late-night energy beneath The City streets.

From Good Friday to Easter Monday, Lennons Restaurant & Bar brings the long weekend to life with its indulgent Easter High Tea with sweet and savoury treats. Friday and Saturday evenings feature a Lobster Special, while Easter Sunday offers a relaxed buffet lunch as well as live music all weekend.
