In 2019, Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) and Brisbane Economic Development Agency collaborated to create the Enhanced Destination Marketing Program (EDMP). This program aims to bolster the aviation and tourism sectors by identifying key international priority markets and implementing initiatives to support incoming flight capacity to Brisbane and boost visitor numbers from these markets.
BEDA is seeking to appoint two full-service third-party representation agencies to deliver integrated market representation services. These agencies will develop and implement multi-faceted destination and airline marketing strategies that will increase awareness of the Brisbane region and drive conversion of passenger and inbound visitation growth. One agency will cover the geographic region of North America, and the second agency will cover Southeast Asia with a potential secondary of market of India.
The scope of the requirements will include (but is not limited to) delivering strategic airline cooperative marketing, creative travel trade engagement, and distribution and marketing communications including PR planning, advice, and implementation of activities.
