Brisbane’s biggest dining event returns to heat up the city this Winter

9 MAY 2023

Dine BNE City is back with its biggest program of exciting offers and events ever, encouraging locals and visitors to discover some of Brisbane city’s best restaurants and bars.

Returning for a third year, the popular celebration of the city’s culinary scene sees 70 venues in the heart of Brisbane cooking up more than 110 exclusive deals throughout June.

Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner said the table is set for a month-long banquet of food experiences for every taste and budget, from affordable city lunches to a decadent five-course degustation meal.

“With plenty of great offers to enjoy, Brisbane’s restaurants and bars will be filled with foodie fans supporting our local hospitality sector,” Cr Schrinner said.

“Dine BNE City was initially established during COVID to support the CBD’s struggling hospitality scene, providing a boost to the local businesses that have continued to serve us during those tough years.

“Since then, an array of new venues have opened, sparking a restaurant revival in the CBD and making this year’s program a special celebration of our thriving dining scene and famous alfresco lifestyle.

“We know locals love to support homegrown businesses, so make it a date with family and friends and discover the best of Brisbane’s dining in the city this June.”

This year’s program dishes up specially curated programs with the return of Let’s Do Lunch, Supper Club and Bar Safari.

Dine BNE City will host a smorgasbord of exclusive ticketed events, including an opening night at the St Stephen’s Cathedral grounds on 1 June.

Joining the program for the first time is Amalfi Coast inspired newcomer Settimo, with founder and celebrity chef, Guy Grossi, sighting Brisbane’s diverse culinary culture as an exciting destination to open his first Queensland restaurant.

“Brisbane’s hospitality scene is exciting and thriving and we are thrilled to be part of the rich tapestry,” Mr Grossi said.

“We developed a new dining concept in partnership with The Westin Brisbane and I am thrilled to bring my vision for Settimo to life.” Discover the full program and special offers at dinebnecity.com.au
